Have you asked on your state's thread? Have you gone to the Buy-sell-trade/hatching eggs forum/auction? If I was looking to buy eggs, I'd start there, and review the feed back on the sellers before ordering any eggs. What kind of eggs do you want to hatch? If I was just trying an incubator for the first time, I'd look for local eggs, and be happy with barnyard mix eggs. You might even try the local farmer's markets, as a lot of folks selling eggs at the markets would have fertile eggs. You could ask the seller if they have a rooster in their flock, and how many hens they have in relation to the rooster(s) If buying from a farmer's market, I'm guessing that the "mixed" eggs (multi-color in the same carton) would be more likely to be fertile. If you live in a rural area, look for neighbors in the same town who have a sign out to sell eggs, and ask if their eggs are fertile.
