Hatchling with yolk sac -Very active!

Posted this pic sent to me by my other half while out running errands. Thought the white part was weird, but there’s a yolk sac hanging out if you look closer. Very loud and active chick hatched earlier than expected. Now it’s just dragging the thing around!

He/she had a pasty butt the other day, but I cleaned, and it hasn’t come back. Still small. Gonna be a runt, I suppose.

This chick is very active. So far, it’s a slow grower! It’s half the size of its younger hatch mates. Has had a patch of dryness on the abdomen. Hen was either a RIR or production red. Rooster is 50/50 RIR and BPR.

Did the sac just come off? Did it absorb? I had one just hatch 2 hours ago, she's very active and climbed out of the cup in which I placed her.

I guess it absorbed or something. Was gone later. At 3 weeks he looked like a hatchling. He/she is growing, but slowly. I think there are some intestinal issues happening that disrupt nutrient absorption. There is a scar below the cloaca here. Good luck to you!

Glad he/she is doing pretty well. Thanks. Now off to look for other answers/help.
