Hi, I had a chick born today and saw that its intestine came out of its belly button. I am sure that its nothing else, he looks healthy. Is there anyone that has dealt with this problem and knows a way for me to possibly save his life? Please and thank you.

Sorry it’s not under better circumstances though.
Does it certainly look like intestine? Or could it be unabsorbed yolk sac? I’m afraid there is little chance of saving the chick should it be intestines but there is a chance if it’s yolk sac.
