I incubated ducks. I have so far 2 that have hatched. Still in the bator now.
I have a broody goose. She has been sitting on duck eggs. She gets off a lot and roams. Even stopped covering them to keep them warm. But is on it the majority of the day. I checked 3 out of guessing 20 or so are developing. Can I pull the developing ones and set the ducklings I currently have in the nest?? Can I fool mother goose like this? I'm afraid hers won't hatch (although I don't really know. This is the first year I have had the goose). And there are 30 eggs or so rolling around in the coop where she and the ducks stay.

Hens go broody when you don’t want them to… and won’t go broody when you do.
