Have 20 hens, giving oyster shell as a supplement however they have suddenly started breaking and eating the eggs (not shells) what could cause this?

Have 20 hens, giving oyster shell as a supplement however they have suddenly started breaking and eating the eggs (not shells) what could cause this? Thanks in advance
 
How much protein do they have in the feed? Low protein can cause this.
It could also be a bad habit of just a single hen. If you can find out which hen is doing this, you can cull/rehome and solve the problem.
 
I don't know what might cause this but my hens just got the taste for egg last summer after they accidentally broke one
What I did was got some rubber egg and put them in their nests and they stopped breaking them,
