Have a got a rooster??

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but funky is not even a full Australorp. He appears to be a cross between an Australorp and some type of crested chicken such as a Cevecoeur or Polish, and yes, he appears to be a rooster. Sorry.

X2....that is a Aussie cross with some sort of crested bird. Very cute! Hard to tell if it is a pullet or a cockerel. You will probably have to wait until it crows or lays an egg.

Hi all,
We are STILL on the edge of our seat here. Whilst Funky has not laid an egg yet, Funky has also not crowed or developed any other Rooster like traits, so there's still hope!! Whe I bought the chooks I estimated early Oct for eggs so I will let you all know! Keep those happy hen vibes coming
