Have a question about pheasant hens....

My red golden hens will be a year this June. I was wondering at what age they will start to lay? What is the best nesting "box" for them?
I can't seem to find any info on goldens but I have found plenty on ringnecks. Can I use this information for my goldens? Any help would be useful. Thanks everyone.

I have heard they start laying at 2 years, but I am not sure.

Red golds usually lay thier first year. Heres some info for you.

Yes they are fertile the first year.It takes 2 years for the males full color to come in ,but he is still fertile.
