Have a sleeping chick

Hello I am new to this site and I am ash
I have bought a few chicks recently which are 3 week old and now I find one of them so sleepy it can stand straight and all but it's just not been active lately . May I know the reason and solution please

Check its butt for poop blocking it. Check its crop to see if it's full and hard and impacted. It may be blocked in its gizzard where you won't see any symptoms.

If the butt is clear, if the crop is empty or normal, it would still be a good idea to give the chick a teaspoon of coconut oil slightly chilled to make it easier to push tiny pieces into the beak. Get all of the oil into the chick. It may take an hour or up to eight hours for the blockage to clear. You may see a huge poop when it does.
