YOU HAVE TO HAVE FOOD GRADE DE!.Not the kind you put in pools.I use it in my feed,some believe it keeps worms away.I can`t belive you can`t find info on goggle thats where I found it.I have never seen any wroms in my chickens.I use 5 cups food grade to 50 pounds of food.I don`t use it with every bag maybe four times a year.Thats just my method,some say DE does not work for wroms it seems to for me.

DE is useless when wet until it dries. Inside the chickens' innards are wet...it will not kill worms. Your chickens can have worms without seeing them in poop. DE may be a preventative for lice/mites...but I have doubts about a serious infestation.
