Have any pics of your gals enjoying the sunshine? (ad them here!)

Thank you!!
The "old crew" roo is a Mottled Java Bantam, the two brown ones are both Mille Fleurs bantams, White one is a silkie and the black and white one is a plymouth rock bantam. They are wonderful little fellas.

We added a silver laced wyandotte and a golden laced wyandotte to the crew and will be adding 2 columbian wyandottes in several week. Chickens are so darn entertaining!

This is crazy! I used to live in Johnstown, Colorado! Small world!!!!!

My wife grew up in Johnstown and when I first moved here there were maybe 1500 people in the whole town. If you lived here back then...I probably know you, or my wife knows you.

I love Buff Orpingtons. After years of being away from poultry, I'm getting back into it in a very small way. The Buff Orpington is a wonderful breed, very easy to work with and very forgiving. They also lay nice large brown eggs.....MMmmmm.

NO BREEDING, no huge involvement...nice easy & small scale.

One of the things that I enjoy the most about these girls is that they want to interact with the handler. When they see me come into the yard...they usually come a runnin...

And yes I know that the lead bird is a cockerel.

These are awesome!!! Love seeing everyone's flock. We are in the process of making our chicken run, can't wait till it is done so our girls can come out and sun bath, and I can take pictures.

Thanks for sharing all your pictures everyone! I took my girls outside to day, and left them out there for a couple of hours, it was so warm and sunny, that it was warmer than the heat lamp...they were so heartbroken when I had to bring them in! :( oh well, until tomorrow!
