Quails hatch on day 18-19 while chickens hatch on day 21. Quail are much easier to care for than chickens

ok so I didn't even know that was a thing.... I just googled it, and from my understanding, it is either a deformed egg with no shell or an egg with multi colors in it?

Hi me again for the third time lol I figured out how it works with the celadon egg gene in quail. If you hatch quail from a celadon egg and want those quail that u hatched from that egg to lay celadon eggs, you will need a male that also hatched from a celadon egg to mate with the female from the celadon egg. Even then the female will only have a 40 percent chance to lay celadon eggs also.
