Have anyone hatch quail and chicken egg together at the same time?

I want to start the chicken egg 4 days ahead then add quail eggs so they can hatch the same time. My biggest concern is the chick may step and kill the quail because of the size. Have anyone has the experience hatching them together?

Either separate them when hatching or set them to hatch at different times.
I hatch 100's of of eggs each year from various quail, partridge, guineas etc. etc., and have done for 30 years, and they hatch absolutely fine at incubation conditions, so incubating and hatching different batches in the same machine is no problem at all. I set small batches every few days from March through to September, in the same machine, and they hatch in there too.
