Have bought wet grit...is it okay?

I have bought some grit and it is wet. Is it okay to give to the girls? Do I need to let it dry out ie leave the bag open. I don't want to be responsible for harming the girls. Please advise asap. Many thanks.

I've never encountered that so I did a quick search for posts on wet grit. Here's a link to one:

Looks like they're saying as long as it isn't moldy, it should be ok.

Thank you. I will check for mould. None with a glance but will check. Should I leave bag open to allow it to dry? Main thing is the girls don't get sick from it.

Leaving the bag open (or even spreading the grit out on something like a screen) would help it dry out. That's what I would probably do.
