I wrote in another thread about how I came about purchasing 2 sets of brooders. This is just one of the 5 Browers Mother Hen brooders that I have in one set. I've rewired this completely and the wafer, believe it or not, after 10 years of sitting outside still worked.

Anyway, it works like a champ. It has grates and feeders for both sides too, they are just out being painted in the garage. So my question is. My DH thinks I should sell these as the whole set of 5 (we have the stand as well) However, I don't think I'll find a buyer for all 5 at a time. I think I should sell them one at a time. So my question is, what do you all think? Seems to me the only person would would have need of 5 at one time is a feed store or something, or maybe Purple Chicken and Speckledhen

Those are GREAT!! Man, I wish I Was closer...I would come buy them..I am doing several hatches for different customers this spring....those would come in handy! How much are ya selling them for??Maybe I can look for something like that closer here, if I get an idea how much they might go for?

I would post an add on ebay if you are a member.
I would sell them separately.
I was suprised to find chicken supplies and other items on ebay and craigslist (locally).
Good luck with your flock.

I'm not sure what to ask for them. You can buy new individual ones from $250-$500. If I sell them seperately, I might be able to ship some of them, they aren't heavy just bulky. They are supposed to hold chicks up to 4 weeks old. I'm still waiting on a little more info from the manufacturer on them. My other one is one of those grow batteries. I'll probably keep that one for myself, but I'm really liking these better at the moment, but then these are the only ones I've started work on too.
