Have I completely lost my mind????

So I get a call today..there are only 4 Bantams left at TSC....I couldn't bear to think they might not have a good home, so off I go!!!!! I walk in to get down by the pellet stove to clean them off and all my daughter (14) says is "Really Mom?"

Judging by wing development Im guessing they are about 2 weeks old, perfect, same age as my other 4! So after cleaning the pasty butts I brought them down to the coop to try the impossible. I put them with my mama who has the other 4. The coop is completely dark (i had a little flashlight) they went right under, mama readjusted herself, I heard a little squirming around then they all settled down! I will be down there at the first light to see how it is going. I did close the curtains in the coop so it will be dark until i go down.

Is it possible to merge them like this? Is there any chance this will work? Im not overly worried if it doesn't I do have 2 other broodies (one for 4 months) that I can put to good use!

As long as you have the space for them, no you haven't lost your mind. Lord knows, If I had the room I'd have the birds.
