One of our hens has been sitting in the nesting box for the last 36 hours but doesn't seem to be laying. She's squawkng a bit but nothing distressing. They've all been having trouble laying recently, stressed out by some new arrivals i think. Yesterday we got our first egg in a week so i think they're getting used to eachother.
Could she be broody? Or egg bound? Or maybe i'm worrying for nothing?!
