Have lonely blind chicken, but worried about introducing new chicken to her.

We recently purchased a home and adopted a single blind chicken. I'm worried she is terribly lonely. I'd like to adopt another full grown chicken as a companion but worried it may harm her due to her abnormality. I'm going to get 4 chicks in the spring and figure they'll accept her, but in the meantime, she's lonely. Anyone have insight into this?

What breed is she? I'd look at getting some bantams to keep her company as they are generally easy going and can't do much harm. If you don't want bantams I'd try and look for a docile breeds such as Orpingtons, Favorelles, or Sussexs,
