Have to ban myself

I have to ban myself from TSC and Rural King until they stop selling chicks. Came home with 6 more chicks and another turkey.

Here is a vedio of my older turkey 4 weeks struting his stuff already.

LOL! LOVE it! I have banned myself too....I have 15 chickens when we were only going to get 4! And....I really want a Maran so I really can't go! I already have 15!!!

I gots no TSC near me, so the least I can order is 15 at a time! I only wanted about 6 to start with, but them hatcheries have their limits!

Got my first batch of 16 a couple weeks ago, don't have the coop done yet, I've just built my THIRD brooder cuz they grow like KUDZU!, it's still daggum cold here at night, and....

I WANT MORE!!!!

My wife is out back Saturday and was admiring t the broody mama and her chicks and says, "I thought you said she hatched out 8 chicks, I just counted TEN!"

Um... did you forget I went to the feed store?!?!?!?!?!

What a pretty broody hen you have there! Lovely photo. I personally don't go into TSC for all of the above mentioned reasons but also because it seems, most of the ones that come to our store just look poor and sickly. Even so, if I do go into the TSC I can't help but gravitate over toward them and last time I did that, they had baby bunnies, one in particular caught my eye. Glanced up at my husband, pouted, and he was like "NO" and made me walk away. It's like an addiction I tell ya!

I have the same problem; even the manager of my Feeds n Needs is an enabler! He keeps my orders a secret(from my DH) and gets his laughs telling other customers my "storeys". And it all started with one chicken! IT's her fault she's so sweet. 1+25+4+10+6 turkeys ordered. Fortunately I do have the land for them to eventually free roam each day. Now to work on egg customers!
