Have you ever ______? Game

When I was 9 years old we were in the back yard catching butterflies. My sister dropped the jar they were in. All flew away except one. I picked it up & took it inside & made some sugar water for it, because I remembered that butterflies drink nectar, made of sugar. ( Kudos to Mrs Hess, back when teachers taught instead of preparing kids for standardized tests). I made a safe place for it in my headboard (bless Mom & Dad for being such forward-looking parents & letting me do this). A couple of weeks later when it was flying around, I turned it loose. We moved to another place few years later. It had a huge ivy vine up a large tree that sparrows nested in. One day I found a baby bird on the ground. I brought it in the house & patient Mom & Dad let me try to raise it. He bacame Chip, my first bird. I had Chip from the time I was 11 untilI was nearly 20. Fast forward a few years. I got a job at B.E.A.K.S., Bird Emergency Aid & Kare Sanctuary, Big Talbot Island Florida. fell in love with my first Chicken, Goldie. I became the Baby Dove Raiser. I also mucked out the bird pens, & I still have a busted nuckle on my right hand from an incident with a small hawk. (Outside in the pens, I was also the Hawk Girl, I taught the newbies how to act around wild raptors safely). I have been (maybe still am) called the Crazy Bird Woman. People ask me bird questions & when I get a gift or card it has a bird on it.
