Yes, mine free range and often get on back deck and peck/rap on the windows in my glass door while looking in as if to say "Hey, bring us some treats".

We have chickens that look through the glass door very nosy chickens and they also follow us trying to get some snacks

The dogs ripped the screen on our screen door & the free range youngsters jump up on the screen door frame & "knock" on the wooden door.

I was outside & DH was watching TV when he heard knocking on the door. He thought I had my hands full of egg buckets & he jumped up to let "me" in....he was surprised to see 2 pullets staring at him when he opened the door!!!!!

I have to watch them, cause they will follow me into the house every chance they get.

Mine are not pet chickens either. We raise them for eggs and we sell chickens too. They are just very friendly, they follow us around...looks funny with a flock of about 70 chickens following you everywhere.

My son just told me he was out on the sun porch and got the daylights scared out of him because the girls snuck up and knocked on the door.

My chickens would only come and look inside, but my geese on the other hand are constantly "knocking" on the doors. lol! They're so precious!

All my pets knock at the patio door

I think they all got into the habit by watching my Terrier bounce at the door and someone opens it and either lets her in or throws her a treat. Now my 3 chickens and the baby kitty sit on the stoop and peck and paw at the patio door in the morning.

lol I had a Red Cap roo that would stand on my door step everyday. No matter when I opened the door, there he was. I think he was waiting for treats.

Haven't had anyone "knock" on the door yet...just crow loudly outside.
