Have you ever met someone that just made you smile?

I have a fondness for the elderly. I usually meet at least one elderly person or couple at the grocery store each week. They make me smile, so I turn that smile on them. I always get one back.

Yes. This lady became like a sister to me. We had a lot of great fun times together.
She died from a brain anuresyum back in '07
I miss her every day.

The thing about her was she always had a smile on her face everytime you saw her.

I have had a few students over the years that just light up my life when I see them. I have one now I will really hate to see leave. There is also a woman I have coffee with every weekend and supply with eggs for free. She is in her 80's and I start smiling as soon as I see her car and know she is there.

the new object of my affection has the most beautiful and infectious smile and positive attitude...

i call her my little papillon (butterfly) because she has one of those smiles that's like a pretty butterfly spreading its wings.

she makes my heart skip a beat.

what can I say? I'm twitterpated. it's far too soon to say, but she certainly could be my Buttercup.

at my job (airline agent)(going on 12 yrs) (ugh) anyways, sometimes, boarding a flight,, and its been a crappy day , i mean,, mean passengers,, demanding everything!! And then the next person in line,, boards and they say "thank you" .... its just 2 words, but they are not heard much these days.
It was one person I helped that day also, in particular, she had lots of car seats, kids and a stroller to boot! I helped her down the airplane, loaded her carryons in her seat, helped her kids get settled, and she turned to me after all and shook my hand, thanked me...I said no problem just part of the job. but it wasnt really, i went a few extra steps, she needed a bit of help, and in the end she thanked me, thats all i needed to end my day at work. thats all.

Some nice thoughts on this thread! I have noticed on the days that I feel emotionally and physically healthy that almost everyone I meet seems friendlier. Mmmm. Could be I'm showing lots of "teeth" that day.
