Have you ever seen a chicken VOMIT?!

I have seen my chickens spit out clear liquid quite often. I just assumed that they drank too much water because it is hot as blazes here! They all are drinking water like crazy. They do seem fine otherwise other than panting from the heat.

One of my hens swallowed a mouse that was a bit too big and spit it back up again. Another hen noticed and tried to steal it but the first hen wasn't going to let that happen. So she swallowed it again and just stood there for a while.

JUST ONCE...it was mostly water and baby chick crumbles...DH picked up one of the two week old chicks that was being EXTRA piggish and running the others off of the food and water and when he did he squished it's super full crop just a little and some mushy mess came up...then got all worried and flustered and hollered "OH NO! I'm sorry I think I broke the chicken! Can you fix it? QUICK! Check that website!" He was SO upset! HE quickly realized I thought it was funny, and calmed down, and went back to playing with the little piggy bird...it's just a little watery mushy mess, but it really was funny to watch him get all upset over 'breaking the chicken'...he can be a mess sometimes. Oh - did he EVER fix the bossy chick by talking to it? NO..it's still a mean little pig, just bigger now.
