have you guys ever mixed a blue chicken with a buff chicken

You will probably end up with blue chicks, buff chicks and mixed chicks. If you are going to cross them, why don't you just get some EE's, they're cheaper?

well I like EE but I like blue and buff I will mix them together because I wanted some mixed but I want some non mixed

I have crossed blue andalusian roo with different breeds. It is very hard to know what you will get because even a pure blue andalusian will hatch out three colors, blue, black and splash. In crossing the Andalusian over Buff Orpingtons I got a variety of colors. Some a dark buff with some blue undertones or a blend of the two.
All of the ones that ended up with all blue bodies had black necks ans some black feathering in the tips. There were also several that were a red, blue and white splash.
