Have you heard of Double R Supply?

Has anyone ever heard of or ordered from a Double R Supply? They have the hatching eggs I am looking for but I am worried about the fact that the Supply place is in Florida but the eggs are in New Mexico. I live in Ohio. Is this too far to be shipping eggs? What about the temp. variation from there to here, would it harm the eggs?

Yes, I have dealt with them. I have not ordered eggs but I ordered my incubator and turner from them. Great service and fast shipping.

I havnt ordered from them but did call to ask some different questions and they were very helpful. You have to order the different minimum numbers but then shipping was free. Shipping eggs from FL to OH should be OK. I am in Iowa and have had mixed experiences with eggs coming North. Some good and some bad. They had everything already figured into the price. There have been about 3 different places that I was going to order from but then I think well, if I just hatch my eggs instead of ordering I would save money..lol All I really want this year is Blue slate turkeys. I have 1 pair so I will hatch those. I did find a local hatchery that has a real good special on over hatched chicks. 100 for 35.00. And since it is within driving distance I wont have to pay any shipping. They only have about 6 to 7 different breeds but heck for 35 cents a chick you cant go wrong. Jenn

I ordered 10 buff orp hatching eggs from them 1/2/08. I had to wait till 1/8 for them to ship. They arrived on the 14th in a box with a piece of foam padding stamped to size for eggs. Very well packed. The box was stamped all over with signs saying hatching eggs and my phone number in many places on the box with a note to call upon arrival. I stopped at the post office on the way to work at 8:00 and they had not arrived yet. At 10:15 my phone rang and was told my eggs just arrived. 14 total eggs in perfect shape. I candled them on day 8 and all where alive and well. I will order from them again. Any questions give me a shout. John

They sell a lot on ebay. Saw some of their stuff yesterday on there. I've never ordered eggs but got my bator from them and was very happy.
