I have a chicken with an amputated wing. I picked up some stuff at my local farm supply store called vetericyn wound & infection care. It's a spray. I'm trying to avoid penicillin unless there is an infection. Has anyone used this?

I have and love the stuff! It works on any animal and almost any wound. I sprayed it on my pullets eye twice a day and it was healed in a week. I recommend that to everyone.

cool, ive never herd of it. but it had some good claims. myhen squawked a bit when i sprayed it on but if someone messed with my arm that was half torn off then cut off i would fight to! i just hope that it fights infection aswell as it says!! and we are getting sub zero tempretures. so im afraid that the medicine might freeze onto the skin.
