My hen Bea, who ate a push-pin is not doing so well. She has not been right for over a week now!
she hasn't eaten much in the last few days, and seems like it's getting less ;(
I have been giving her all soft foods, she turns her nose up at most of them. I offered her fresh clover from our yard and she ate all of them! Otherwise, she has had some bread (with olive oil), spaghetti (with olive oil), cottage cheese, grapes. I have even given cat food drenched in olive oil...
I checked her crop today, a very small knot (less than a ping pong ball), I massaged it for about 20 minutes. When my BF comes home, I will have him help me give her a tsp of olive oil. I'm so WORRIED about her. She is still standing, red comb and wattles, bright eyed. I'm loosing my mind over this though. NO MORE CHICKENS FOR ME ;( this is just to **** stressful...
