I have 4 month-old Call ducks and they're the goofiest bunch I've ever had!
I didn't take them out to the big pool today because I wanted to clean it out first, so for their morning play time I brought out a bowl of water for them to at least dunk their heads in. As soon as I sat the water down the babies stuck their beaks in then took off running around me in circles. They would do a small sprint, lay down next to me, get up and do it over again. It was so cute! They even tried doing flips in the grass as if they were in a huge pool of water! One of the ducklings nestled itself under my leg and stayed there for at least 5 minutes before returning to its sprinting.
I'm just curious if anyone has ever seen ducklings do this before. I'll try to get a video of it tomorrow.
