Having a problem with Horses and the netting?

My horses are trying to eat the netting in my peafowl pen. I built there pen right next to my horses in an emprty stall they never used.
But my 6 year old horse is LITERALLY chewing on it.
What can I do to solve this? Thanks

Also could try putting some substance on the net the horses don't like the taste of. Maybe soap?

we have the same problem! they seem to like the netting for some reason, so we put up some metal chicken wire just around the area where they tend to chew. The metal isnt as fun to chew on
