I am happy about resurrection Sunday, and all that it stands for: Jesus dying for our sins and coming back to life.
This Easter is going to be strange. Usually we are going to church, and spending time with both sides of our family. We have an egg hunt for the kids. We have a big dinner together...
Is anyone else feel unsettled and/ or pretty bummed out?

I think most people feel unhappy, and miss our friends and loved ones. I often feel that way at Christmas, especially now that we no longer have parents or grandparents to spend it with.

Maybe you can plan a special event with your family, and church, when this is all over to give you that shared feeling of thankfulness and joy. Meanwhile, give yourself some time to be sad, then some time to be thankful and happy about friends, family and the meaning behind Easter. You can still do the big dinner, and the egg hunt. Just remember, you are not alone :hugs
