Having issues with our dogs - need advice

So sorry to read of the lose of your old dog @wyoDreamer . The old ones are always so precious, and sometimes require extra care from us. Sometimes it doesn't feel like enough. We do our best and that's all we can do. I'm glad Pete can run free now.

When my second oldest cat developed dementia…I lost it. It was the saddest thing to see a cat not remembering anything. I was scared when he left the yard, he would forget his way to come back home.
I remember he frantically meow out of complete stress to get down from the fence.
