I've posted before about taking my first chances in the spring with eggs, and I'm back for an update.
I recently aquired a Silkie hen, and was wondering if it'd be best to have her sit on the eggs instead?
She already has a chick with her who's about a month old, and trust me, she is one good momma!
Take Lilly away for over a minute and she clucks like no tomorrow, she gets
if you take too long!
So, opinions on that theory please?
I think if I have her hatch the eggs in the spring I could be good.
They would have a good momma who will be totally settled in by then.
Let me know what you think!
Thanks!
