Hello ladies and gents, I'm new to this site and have a question. I live in VA and with the average days being from 99-105 all my chickens have stopped laying eggs, I've put pediolite in their water for extra electrolites cause Iwas suggested to do this, I stillhave no eggs coming though. I've lost 3 chickensin the last month after almost a year of them allliving together fine. they all got slow wobbled then just couldn't even stand, then died. Many people told me this wascause the heat. any feedback would help greatly this is my first year doing chickens! Thank You in advance!

Some chickens will stop laying in the heat.
Try your best to keep them cool.
Dig lots of holes in the dirt (shade) so they can lay in the cool earth.
Some people spray the dirt with water to keep the hole cool.
Provide lots of shade for them to escape to.
Mine love to hang out in the back of the pole barn on hot days.
If you grow your own veggies, give the chickens lots of cucumbers and watermelons.
If you have a large freezer, you can freeze some water jugs and lay them around the shaded areas for the chickens to sit next to.
Once the temps cool down, they'll start laying more regular.

Thank You, I'll try everything too get them laying again and too keep them healthy!
