Having two chicken houses attached to same run

I have two 8x8 buildings inside the same chicken run area. One of them is my chicken house I'm using now. The other is for storage but we are thinking of using it as an additional chicken house in the future.

If I added chickens and put them in that second shed (made it into a chicken house) would they mingle with the other chickens during the day but go back to their own house at night or would all the chickens end up trying to use the same chicken house?

Does that make sense?

I let 3 different night coops range all day long together. They go back to their respective homes at night even though they spend time in each others homes.

PS of course you know now I'm going to have to move my new coop and run so I have room to put another coop on the other side!!!

in about a week im going to get MORE chickens myself!!
