I'd agree the pseudo-science environmental movement is rediculous. People have picked and chosen which animals they like and try to create laws to "protect them". We are the top predator. If I see a raptor (I have plenty that visit my yard even before chickens) going after my chickens, I'm shooting it. Let the DEC ticket me!

I don't doubt for one moment that red tail hawks eat chicken.
