I don't like how this spot looks. maybe its nothing. Still cleaning and putting antibiotic on 2x/day.

That looks rough. Are you giving her any antibiotics besides the topical? The rooster in my avatar got an infection from such a wound and died. He didn’t get his saddle feathers plucked so I didn’t even know it had happened until it got infected and I saw and smelled the raised spot on this plumage. Had I caught it immediately and given him antibiotics he may have survived.

@ObiWanGnomie Can you get aqua mox from TSC? They ship really fast. Do you have a squirt bottle to irrigate that wound really well, try to debride it and then spray with the chlorhexidine and then slather with a thick layer of the antibiotics ointment. I mean a thick layer. With wounds this big you'll need a few tubes of the stuff.
