Today I brought home some new BB reds and I put them in a nice new coop. When I got home I ran across the yard because they were screaming. A hawk was trying to pull the wire off the coop. When he saw me he flew away. I checked on all the girls and one was hurt. His tallon had cut her little gullet open. She was aware and walking so we took her inside and sewed her up after disinfecting the gash. What can I feed her? HELP!

Try her with SAv-a-chik electrolyte solution or similar for a day or so. I would also make a very sloppy mash so that it sort of slips down. Chickens are very resilient, so she likely will do fine.
Make sure the wire is intact and will withstand another attack. The hawk will be back.
Keep us posted please!
