Hawk attack

I keep trying to post but the site keeps telling me my post is being held for moderation. Long story short (since I've typed it out 3 different times) my 3-4 week old baby easter egger was attacked by a hawk while in their play pin. Luckily my cat was standing guard or they all would have been meals. Her throat is torn open. She's eating and drinking a little but very lathargic. We've been cleaning her wound with saline solution and applying neosporin every 2 hours. As well as changing out her water that we mixed with Gatorade and a tiny amount of aspirin. My main concern is that her chest, right underneath her wound is super swollen. Is this internal bleeding? Any help is greatly appreciated.

The throat isn't wide ope is it? Maybe the picture is playing tricks on me. If the skin is open wide figure a way to close it up. A couple stitches would do. Other than that you've done all that is needed and she should come out of it just fine. She needs to be separated from others until healed enough or they'll peck at the wound.You don't need neosporine every hour, every few days is fine.

I don't think it is wide open, but the skin is definitely torn. What do you think about the big bump on her chest??
