and I won't mind. I certainly don't mean to make light of the fact that plenty of people have been seriously affected by owls & hawks. I appreciate the fact that you posted this link for everyone since it seems to be happening more frequently. I just thought it was ironic.

Birds of prey are part of our world/environment. They have to be respected as such. Old respected farmers and ranchers that respect the environment take precautions and do expect some losses. Newbie’s haven’t a clue.

Unfortunately, in today’s world, no one reads or they cannot read to get the much needed information. You would be surprised how many people cannot or won't read.

I am of the opinion that people need to do their research before they ever take any animal into their possession. Animals deserve to be valued and cared for as an extension of your own family. This is not just a mushy sentiment. The very health and wellbeing of these animals can affect the health and wellbeing of you and your family.

Anything that can affect our food chain needs serious attention to detail. And sometimes that takes a lot of work. :|
