Right now over my run I have plastic garden fence as a hawk deterrent.

With the leaves starting to fall and snow on the way I was thinking about another way.
I have read where u can run cable across about 2 foot apart with streamers and it will be enough to keep them out.
As long as the cable is narrower than a hawks/owl wingspan I read.
Has anyone tried this? how well does it work?

I have been useing fishing line but cables will work better I think. Feed the crows and wild birds they scare/ try to drive preatory birds away, My blue jays go NUTS lol My chickens have an alarm song. A good roo can sometimes attack and give pre warnings to the hens, fake owl scares them and the chickens I also have poped shiney balloons hanging in mid air from branches in my pen, there are chicken jackets that have preator eyes on them. So far useing the line and balloons no attacks
