I was out feeding the pigeons wen a red tailed hawk took out one of my mothers I took the babandy inside and fed him frozen vegtables and cooked rice is there any thing else I can do?e

Very I have one question mainly if you know what hes doing ... Every time I stick a pice of food out to him he tries to nibble my fingger instead of the food

He us a week to a week and a half old

can you put him in with another pair with a simular aged baby

You could try hand raising him Exact works good or chicken food and water heated up in the microwave. Nearly all of my hand raising attempts were unsusesful only 1 baby pigeon lived the others died.

As far as the finger goes the parent puts their beak in the Baby Pigeons beak and regurgatate Pigeon milk into the beak

I would put him in a cage with the father. Or just leave him in the nest. Dad should continue feeding him, and you can go in there and help so it isn't such a strain on him.
