I came outside and saw my white call duck flying after a hawk, I quick ran and got him then frantically ran to locate everyone! I quickly noticed that my black bibbed Splash was gone! I ran out into the weeds but couldn’t locate him. After a while of searching I found him! He’s got a bad eye injury that looks like it might be to his third eyelid. He also had blood on his chest, which upon inspection turned out to be a superficial peck wound on the outside of his chest. It does not appear to go through. I cleaned him, applied Vetericyn to the wound and am wondering if I should put Terramycin on his eye. What else should I do? I separated him inside, and Provided electrolyte water, he ate a little bit and pooped normally I have attached a picture of his poop. I will later trim the feathers away from his chest to see how bad that is and I will continue to monitor him. He Appears stable as of now he walked around clean his chest a little bit and flapped his wings. I cannot visit a vet. Any advice? @Isaac 0 @Miss Lydia @casportpony @Pyxis
Will he recover alright?
