So I just lost my first baby tova hawk I like to let my flock free rage but have no clue on how to keep these predators away other than killing it this same hawk has come by 3 days now and i fought it off the first day my husband fought it the second day and the third day I lost one of my babies I moved them into a fully secured and enclosed coop but scared for the adult chickens. What can i do to keep them away from my flock?

You might try putting netting up anywhere you can. I have it over my whole run but sometimes the chickens are allowed out and we have had a hawk try to attack them so the next day they don't go out. He will be back if he's had success, just doing what nature intended. If they have places to hide that helps too

Hawks who are successful will keep coming back, maybe every third day, so keep your birds in a safe coop and run for at least two weeks, so this bird gives up and leaves. Once we had our flock in for three weeks, because the Cooper's hawk took that long to move on elsewhere.
Some folks have given up on free ranging because either they can't stand even one loss, or because there are just so many predators in their area, losses are constant.
Everyone loves chicken! We all find this out, and it's hard.
