Hawk protection? LOL!

I let my ladies out this morning to free range, including my lame one. As I was coming back to the house, I heard two hawks yelling to each other (free lunch???). I was horrified, but I had to go out! I didn't want to leave my lady to be eaten - what to do?? So I stuffed my son's clothes and added a stuffed animal and Viola! - A MONKEY SCARECROW!!

And all my ladies are still safe!!

Great idea! I might try it. I have a hawk nest with a mating pair and offspring in the trees behind my house. They hunt my RIR regularly. I just had to keep them penned up the last week because I coouldn't find a solution!
