Hawk / raptor attacks call ducks in daytime

I wish I had a picture of this - was outside in yard when ducks scattered…I looked up and a raptor / hawk or whatever it was flying down and literally bounced off the netting over my yard…it was trying to get my call ducks (and would have if it weren’t for the net) but I guess it didn’t realize the netting was there?? Happened very quickly.

I did notice that since I put the net up I have not had anymore crow issues…they seemed to realize they couldn’t get at the ducks / ducklings anymore …previously they were always stalking the ducklings

I use fishing line to do the same thing. Works very well doesn't it!
