Hawk!!! What to do?

While my family and I were outside gardening a hawk swooped down, it left quickly because we were outside. I’m worried that the hawk will come back. What can I do to keep them safe? I live in urban Houston, so it was a surprise to me that a hawk would come.

It willbe back. Best option would be to keep them in a secured covered run for a while.

Put netting or cover over your run, it will be back, a rooster won't deter it.

I agree. This is what one BYC member did when she had an issue with hawks.
