Good day to you all. I am new to this forum although I have been raising small flocks on and off for 15 years. I currently have a turkey (Victoria Grace), who flew in about 8 years ago and began protecting our flock. I had free range chickens for 10 years with no problems. They had a coop and put themselves up at night. They were good size hens. Unfortunately, six months ago the hawks decided their food chain needed to include my flock. Since then I have had a rooster and a hen come from neighboring properties to keep Victoria company. Sadly they have both moved on and she seems lonely. Any suggestions on what I could add to keep my turkey happy?

You could get more turkeys.
Or you could build a run with bird netting over the top and get more chickens.
Or both.

I think you're not supposed to keep turkeys with chickens, though, due to disease risk.
