Hawt, I mean HOT chickens!

110 heat index today had me worried about my feathered friends. I stopped and got them some frozen peas and cantalope to help them cool off. Half of them still refuse to go outside, it is crazy hot in the coop!

If your chickens don't want to come out of the coop it is probably not to hot for them, make sure they have plenty of water. You can put frozen water bottles in the coop to cool it down and you can always take you chickens out of their coop. Make sure there is a shady place to go and they should be ok
