If it's the same price, I say go with pine. That would be really expensive for me if I had to use it. I prefer pine but it breaks the bank .

LOL I buy SO much from my feed guy (about 10-15 bags of feed a week) he gives me the pine shavings for cheap! I pay about $5 for 100 lbs of it! But, of course, he's making so much off us in feed it's insane! 1 bad of layer pellets is 12.00, 1 bag of turkey finisher is 13.00, 1 bag of rabbit pellets is 10.00. We buy 4 or 5 bags of layer, 2 turkey, 2 rabbit, plus 4way, hay (for steer) and everything else we need from him! He gives me grit and oyster shells every time I'm there (about 20.00 worth) for free!
