He is already a handsome little fellow! Thanks for the update; keep 'em coming!!

They grow up so fast! In 4 days Haybale will be a month old! I think I can put aside a couple questions I had early on.
Obviously, he's a cockerel.
His father is a turken and his mother... is the frizzle I originally suspected. Haybale may not be showing the frizzle gene, but I believe my frizzle is a cochin- which would account for the feathered legs.

His first trip outside was good, and hopefully the next will be better. He didn't like the grass and kept flying up to sit on my arm or hand. He was taken inside when I caught sight of a stray cat. There will be more trips for longer periods of time, with supervision.

He is mostly feathered but under his wings is still full of fuzzy down. I think he is going to be a handsome little fella.

He isn't outside full-time yet. But he gets to spend a fair amount of time outside now. He isn't a big fan of the other chickens but they haven't bullied him either. He currently prefers to be inside.
His favorite activities include harassing the dog, dragging newspaper across the floor, and playing with a little cat ball.
I know he will eventually do fine outside, but I am not rushing it. He is potty trained and gets along very well.

Haybale is a standard turken x bantam cochin mix. He's a delightful little boy.
