Thank you. He's just shy of 4 months and I can't believe how much he's developed/blossomed. He's already as tall as his standard sized father, and his saddle feathers are so defined.Haybale just keeps on getting more handsome all the time
Haybale is almost 4 and a half months old. He's very active and excitable and friendly. Still can't get him on board with the other chickens. He goes outside (when it isn't too cold) but mostly either hides from the chickens or looks for me and makes alarmed yelling sounds if I'm not near. If I'm close, he settles a little and will forage. When he's done, he jumps in my shoulder or lap.
That is a funny way to look at it. And thank you. He and is feathered boots are beautiful.Tee hee. He makes me think of those dudes that grow a beard to make up for their balding head. I love it! His fuzzy boots...
Does this occur with certain breeds? Or is he just an overachiever? A lot about his development has been odd (by my standards).
I have no idea! I only have easter egger chickens.
